  • Educating. We are experts in the areas of health and fitness. We start by addressing a member’s situation. Who are you? What do you wish to accomplish? Why is that important to you? Helping our member pinpoint their goals and then educating them on what it would realistically take to achieve them is foundation of our approach.

 

  • Inspiring. The first way to inspire others is to practice what we preach. We must take care of ourselves the same way we are educating members to do so. We must eat a healthy diet, workout and follow a balanced lifestyle as we encourage others to do the same.

CLUB HISTORY

We opened our first 1,500 square foot personal training studio in 1998, on Arroyo Parkway, in Pasadena. After three years of solid growth we moved into our second location, 87 Fraser Alley, in Old Town Pasadena. The Old Pasadena facility was designed to optimally enhance the personal training and Pilates experience. We’ve spent almost 6 years in that location before making the leap to our new 14,000 square foot upscale fitness club.

Pasadena’s pristine view of the San Gabriel Mountains is the back drop of the club’s newest location. The new Breakthru IS be hip, modern, classy, and state-of the-art, with a beautiful balcony that enhances the abundance of privacy and natural light. With ample free parking in a very central location to Pasadena residents, this newest addition to the Shops on Lake is located on the 2nd level, next to Trader Joes.

We continue offering signature personal and Pilates training, in addition to a variety of innovative group training programs. Train Like An Athlete with our MC3 (metabolic conditioning for adults) sports performance center and if SPINNING is your thing, the state-of-the-art indoor stadium style 45 bike SPINNING room is an experience second to none. Powered by World Aerobic Champion and DVD Fitness star, Michelle Dozois, Breakthru’s revolutionary 90 group fitness classes offering per week provides variety and excitement. Release stress with a yoga class, power up with group strength training or trim off the inches with cardio dance classes.
