Oxygen October 2002 "Begins with Pilates, then moves on to ballet and finishes off with yoga. Teaches body awareness, posture and breathing while strengthening the major muscles and core." Rated 4 stars.

Great Core Workout I've had this video for 2 years and never get tired of it. This is so much better than the Lotte Berk video I wasted my money on. The instruction is excellent. Some of the core exercises are challenging; but modifications are always shown. The 10 min. ballet section is a great workout for the legs with no stress on the knees. I often do the yoga warm-up and pilates section one day and do the ballet and ending yoga stretch the next day. Posted by Kelly Ann on 8/28/2005.

Fantastic! This is a very thorough toning dvd that incoporates ballet, yoga, and pilates to tone the whole body. The cueing is great, instructors are very likeable and easy to follow. It is also a challenging workout for any level. Highly recommend this one. Posted by Stacey on 7/28/2005.

Great Workout I've had this video for almost a year-it is still very challenging for me!!Love it! Posted by Brie on 2/28/2004.

Challenging mix I was very pleased with this workout! It was a bit challenging and had a nice mix of pilates, ballet, and yoga to keep it interesting! I have a ballet background, so I especially enjoyed the ballet work in the mix. The instructors are pleasant and positive, without being too cheesy (which is a big pet peeve of mine!). I was still feeling that great burning feeling two days later - I love that! Posted by Summer on 1/12/2004.

Excellent! This video is a great blend of pilates, yoga and ballet. The moves are all easy to follow - Tracey and Michelle explain each move without slowing the workout down. The video flows at a perfect pace. There are some different moves that I haven't seen in other tapes. It's an excellent intermediate toning tape. Posted by Kelly Ann on 9/16/2003.

LOVED it!! I just bought this tape and decided to give it a try. It was surprisingly tough...I never knew pilates and yoga and ballet could make me sweat but it sure did! I exercise frequently and at 5'7 and 120 pounds I still found this to be a challenging, fun and effective workout. TWO THUMBS UP!! Posted by melissa on 12/27/2002.

A good 3 in 1 tape Pilates plus is a compilations of Pilates, Ballet and Yoga. The 8 minute warmup combines elementsof all three styles and the body of the workoutfocuses on them separately with the Pilates segment being the first and longest, followed byballet and concluding with yoga. Because of the modular format you can do part of the tape of segments. Even the warm-up alone is nice to start or end the day with. One thing, is has a toughand interesting push-up segment during the Pilates work. It's yoga-style tricep push-up combine with plank and "decelleration" push-up-two sets. Wow!Michelle and Tracy co-teach smoothly and give encouragement and good form pointers throughout while maintaining good form themselves. For some reason, both their Pilates tapes are available retail but the other Breakthru tapesmust be ordered either through Collage or theBreakthru website. Pity, they have a comprehensive collection of workouts that range for hi/lo, step, weights and Pilates. Posted by Jean Ebyrd on 11/24/2002.

Pleasant Surprise I'm not a big fan of pilates, but am trying to vary my routine to break a rut - and wow! I really enjoyed this video. I was sore the next day from the precise movements - especially the triceps pushups and plank poses. I used to find these 2 instructors annoying, but they have definitely improved over the past 10 or so years (from the old Buns of Steel days!) and make a good tag-team of instructors. I would recommend this video - and there's not many I would say that about! Posted by Mel on 9/6/2002.

Good for beginner and adv This is a great video. If you are a beginner the instruction is detailed and easy to follow. The pace is slow and the instuctors are friendly without being too "folksy." They really know their stuff too. I have been doing pilates for lots of yrs and even though I am at a more advanced level I love this video and it is one I come back to often in my collection. If know the moves you can keep working through when they do the explanations. The slower pace really encourages you to think about and practice perfect form. They alternate opposing body parts in a sequential way that strengthens, tightens and tones. Even if you think you know a ton about pilates this video offers you some new perspective. A must for your pilates collection. Posted by jewel on 6/28/2003.

Michelle and Tracy do it again! This is my third workout from Michelle and Tracy. In addition to this one I also have Breakthru Pilates Plus and 7 Day Solution. This is a great Pilates workout. I usually prefer more fusion tapes that are not all Pilates (more like their Pilates plus tape which also includes Yoga and Ballet) but I really enjoyed this one. They weren't your basic Pilates moves. It was kind of Pilates with a twist. This one will definitely go into my regular rotation. Michelle and Tracy work very well together and I look forward to acquiring more of their workout videos. Posted by Pam on 4/24/2003.

Great introduction to Pilates I love this Pilates workout. Its focus is the core and the instructors explain each move well. The short breaks may bother advanced exercisers, but I liked the form pointers and used the time to get in an extra rep or two. Otherwise, the workout flowed right along. It didn't feel long while doing it and enjoyed the soothing music, and yoga stretches at the end. Posted by Lorrie on 1/1/2003.

Pilates-Certified instructors Tracy York and Michelle Dozois use Pilates as the base of this workout and build off its principle of using your core and becoming focused on the power you create from your body's center. Once you master this, ballet becomes easier and yoga becomes more effective. This no-impact, no equipment workout will help you develop flexible strength and build long, toned muscles. Experience mind-body cross training at its best with Pilates Plus - you'll love the way you look and feel.
