Pick Your Level: Fat to Firm Fast (DVD)

You can always make it harder! I think this is ideal for anybody- especially me since I like the level 3 challenge. I found some of level 3 to be too easy, but Michele says in the intro that you can make it harder by upping the weights and adding more intensity to the cardio. If you are having a lower energy day you can go to level 1 or 2. I like the unique movements that I did with level 3 and I really felt it in my abs- even while doing the squats and lunges. It is not all aerobic nor toning... it's INTERVAL with intregrated body movements. So, I think this will fit the bill for anyone short on time and space, because it doesn't take up alot of room and it goes by quickly and works the entire body! Posted by HC on 9/4/2006.

Excellent! This workout is filled with unique toning moves that don't repeat. You do around 8 reps before the the move is changed or modified, which keeps you focused on maintaining good form and balance. Michelle's queing is excellent and her enthusiasm is very encouraging (not a distraction). The aerobic sections are short--I'm interm/adv and I had to continue the high impact moves even when Michelle went back to the base move in order to keep my heart rate up. she also tends to break the flow when she explains the modifications. But once you catch on to workout, you can start the exercise while she's explaining to get more reps in. Very well produced. The set is colorful and inviting. A very enjoyable and effective workout. The Pick Your Level System Makes Working Out As Easy As 1-2-3. Here's How: Just Push Play there's no programming required. Within the workout, three instructors each show the moves modified for a specific level: 1, 2 or 3. You simply follow along and do each move at the level that feels right for you.

Remember, this is your workout you don't have to stick with one level throughout the entire routine. You may prefer to stick mostly with Level 1, but choose a few Level 2 or 3 moves occasionally. You can customize the workout as you progress or as your energy level varies from day to day. Whatever level you chose, know that Michelle specifically designed this program so that all of the levels are really effective.

One or two sets of light hand weights can be used for this workout.
