In my old ways, I would eat lunch and then dinner really late at night and I wasn't really hungry the rest of the day. So, the idea of my getting up in the morning and making myself eat was strange, but I did it. I did not increase my workouts; rather I replaced them with Michelle's Body Breakthru DVD workouts. I have been on many other diet programs in the past – THIS ONE WORKS!! So far I’ve lost 17 lbs in just over 2 months. It took me almost 2 years to loose the same weight with another program. The diet doesn’t feel like a diet but a change in lifestyle. Learning to eat smaller meals throughout the day was a challenge at first, but once I got used to it I reaped the rewards. Food portioning is also very important. I am now able to eat everything I want (including chocolate and beer), in moderation. While I have always exercised, I didn’t generally lift weights; I was definitely the type of girl that felt cardio was the most important thing for me to lose weight. Wow is all I can say. Hi I am Ana Olson and I am on a journey. A journey towards a better me. I gained a ton of weight when I got pregnant and I didn't lose much after my baby was born. I needed to gain some control over my health. I haven't reached my ultimate goal yet but I am getting there. It is the energy and confidence and strength that I have gained that have made the biggest difference. My life has been crazy between working part-time, caring for my 13-month-old daughter and trying to be a good wife, sister, daughter and friend. Hi, my name is Lisa and I am a 36-year-old wife and mother of two girls. Over the years I had slowly starting putting on weight. It wasn’t a huge amount, but enough where I started seeing a difference in certain areas of my body so I decided to give this program a try. I am sometimes hesitant ordering workouts because I have to left feet and I worry the choreography will be too difficult. Your workout is by far the best I have ever dome. It is simple to follow and the toning is easy to do also. I am 58 and want to try to do the best I can to age the best I can. I had fun doing the workout and at the end, I knew every muscle had been worked out. I was considering looking into getting a trainer o talk to about my fitness routines, but now, I don't have to, you allowed be to get to that next level.

Good Morning Michelle!

Wow, I got the Best Body Circuit (via Collagevideo.com) last night and did this morning! I feel great and energized!! I also got the PDF's for the nutrition program and I'm impressed, it's very sensible with everyday foods! And the Best Body Breakthru schedule is so doable. I like the calendars you provide for the workouts - I'll start out slowly. One night this week (when I'm home), I'll be on your website to order the other 2 DVD's & the Kitchen Makeover kit. I may even call the nutritionist-her ways are very sensible (I tried a local nutritionist and they wanted me to eat "rabbit food" - man, I got a lot of headaches).

I hope I can be one of your testimonials; your program is flexible enough for a busy schedule like mine and the Kitchen Makeover kit would help as my mom moves in (diabetic and heart disease). Mom can't workout, maybe very light stretching, or chair exercises.

First off, I listened to your message while getting dressed to work out this morning, and it filled me with both sadness and hope. Bless your little boy and the struggles he endures. He's lucky to have a mom who is obviously dedicated to helping him live his life fully and to finding out what causes and cures autism. I cannot begin to imagine what you've gone through, but I applaud you!

I've been a long-time Breakthru fan, and I have to tell you, I absolutely LOVE this new system!! Please tell me you girls took breaks in between segments because I am totally dripping with sweat and red-faced as I type this :o). I really needed a boost in my workouts and this is perfect. I just finished day 4 of the advanced rotation after trying them all the week before, and I cannot believe how much of a challenge the cardio is without even using a step! I never thought I cou ld enjoy stepless cardio, but I definitely am!

I watched that with my 3 children for several reasons but your loving intent came across beautifully. more... I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for creating such terrific workouts! I was first introduced to you with the Shape workouts, which I thought were fun and very well instructed. Your personality and intensity were contagious so I decided to check into other videos that you have completed…boy am I glad that I did! I ordered all 3 of your Body Breakthru series and have done 2 out of the 3 thus far…and they were excellent! They are SO much fun, along with the high degree of versatility, excellent cuing, and innovative exercises that just flat out impressed me! I am a pretty advanced exerciser, having played collegiate basketball and participated in a wide range of athletic pursuits. I am also the mother of three young children…ages 12, 8, and 7 respectively. I am particular about the workouts I buy because they have to be challenging enough but also appeal to me in a more personal way so that I am motivated to pull them out each day.& nbsp; I really like the way you come across on the videos and the very natural way you interact with both the audience at home and with your "girls" in the video with you. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.

It's been awhile since I emailed you, but I've continued doing the Breakthru workouts and am thrilled with the results. To refresh, I did your advanced rotation for 8 weeks but lately, I have been doing this:

Monday - YBBC Circuit,
Tuesday - Rockin Cardio,
Weds - 1/2 of the SSSB sculpt / walking or some cardio,
Thursday - the other half of SSSB sculpt / walking
Friday through Sunday - Open to what I want (if I choose a DVD, it is one of Patrick Goudeau Sculpt workouts - no dread factor) ....the weather has been so great in Florida, I've been walking on the beach a lot.

It's been over 12 weeks of using Breakthru, and if I followed everything I read from the experts, I would have missed out on the continued benefits I received.

So here's the stats:

Strength gains - On November 21st, I did 21 FULL (on the toes) PUSHUPS!!!! Also, awhile back, I tested with an older workout (Core Foundations from TLP) - there was one part with one arm side planks lifting your leg to the side that I NEVER was able to do before and was able to complete it.

Aches/pains/discomfort - NONE

I'm doing all the advanced variations on the workouts (except for the band for shoulders, I follow Josie)... and sub in more advanced variations sometimes - stacking legs

I haven't been able to increase my weights for many weeks now - I am using 15s for mostly everything - 20 for the DL/Squats in SSSB but a bump to 20 would be too much for anything else. I still find the strength work challenging with the band and weights.

This was my BEST Fitness Purchase EVER....and I continue to recommend these workouts. YBBC - completed 30 times so far - (Bought earlier in July and was hooked immediately)
SSSB - 15 times
Rockin Body - 19 times

I am curious what the others who participated in the challenge are doing. Should I continue doing what I am doing?

Give Michelle Dozois an hour of your time and she'll give you a workout you will feel the next day! And she'll keep you interested throughout with a wide variety of exercises and cardio segments that ramp up traditional moves. There is no doubt that this workout is effective - it's part of the "Your Body Breakthru" series that Dozois used on her own clients, many of whom are seen in these DVDs. You even get to see them relate their stories in one of the bonus segments. To get those results, Dozois includes many combo moves with both dumbbells and the exercise band, plus some plyometric (jumping) moves during the cardio part of these circuits (there are seven circuits altogether). There is a modifier to show you less intense options, so if you'd rather keep your feet on the ground, you do have a choice. I have just a couple of minor complaints about this DVD - Dozois tries to squeeze in so much that you feel a little stressed out jumping from cardio to mat to dumbbells to band. And it does take awhile to get the band just right the first few times you do the workout. There is a shorter "express" version of the workout, but I found it missing too many parts - you would work one side of the body and the other would be missing. Frankly, there are other half-hour routines that were designed for half an hour. I say stick with the hour-long workout. Trust me, the time flies by and you'll feel like you've accomplished a lot... because you have!


Michelle Dozois: Your Best Body Circuit
In her new workout series, Michelle Dozois fits a lot of workout into an hour. It uses a variety of equipment - an exercise band (included in the DVD), dumbbells, and a mat - and it's done circuit-style with a lot of combo moves, so you are never bored. Intermediate exercisers who think they've done it all will find this always-engaging take on traditional workouts refreshing. You get cardio and toning for maximum fat burning and sculpting, and the results are proven - all the women accompanying Dozois onscreen have been through her program and dropped mega pounds.

First... a compliment: Last month I purchased the Dance off the Inches - Fat Burning Jam video. I am extremely impressed by this video and am already begining to experience results after 4 weeks. Michelle Dozois is an excellent video instructor and for the first time ever, I actually look forward to my daily workout!
